Funny is a spayed female and although she has had her hips X-rayed for evaluation for her suitability in competing in Weight Pull, a cranial cruciate injury she sustained at the age of nine and another at the age of 10 prevented her from competing heavily. But, Funny does have some unique surprises of her own!
Funny earned her International Championship out of the ALTERS (meaning Veteran) classes. Funny was 8 years old. She finished with 2 Best Veteran in Show and a Reserve Veteran in Show awards.
Funny earned her CGC in 1998!
And her TT in 2001
After recuperating from her two TPLO surgeries, Funny hopped off the couch and earned her UWP at the tender age of 11 years and eight months old. She is my star!
Funny showed a true love for working and she excelled in the pulling chute. As a result, she became the oldest UKC dog to earn her weight pull Championship. Funny earned her title at 11 years and 11 months old. She turned 12 in January of 2006. If there were no age limit, Funny would still be competing today and showing the True Grit she is made of!
