Dan taught me about love, life and pit bulls!

OK, so Dan was an ugly puppy.  Or at least this is an ugly picture!

But, Dan was a gorgeous adult!

Dan was bred by Ruth Kramer of Arkay APBT's and was the son of CH UCD 'PR' Kramer's Tough Pumpkin and CH 'PR' LarSan Justin

Dan came to live with me after he became a Champion and had a couple of legs toward his grand.  He was about three years old.

I didn't know much about showing and while Funny was teaching me about gracious loosing, Dan was teaching me about gracious winning!

Dan may have taught me how to show, but he definately didn't teach me how to dress for the ring!

Dan earned me my first Best of Breed under honorable Jean Murray.  I was so excited.  I was HOOKED!  Dan won many BOB's but usually Ruth was handling him!  Dan's greatest win was his final Champion win the day after the 1995 National under Yvonne Vernimme.  Ruth was handling him to a huge win of over 30 other dogs!  It was great!

Dan wasn't above wearing the clothing that the kids were always dressing him in.

Dan and my niece McKenzye, fighting for the chair.  Dan loved kids and was happiest when with them.

Dan was quite the studly guy!

Funny spent no time teaching all of the boys that they were to bow to her every whim.  Dan was her easiest convert to Funny worship.
