Girls can pull too!

Funny decided she wanted to earn her UWP
even though she had survived cancer and two
cranial cruciate surgeries. Since she asked
nice, I said OK.  I hooked her up to a cooler
and she practiced.  She earned her UWP
in August 2005 pulling 640# on wheels.
She said she could have pulled more
but I was mean and wouldn't let her.

Funny told me she really liked pulling and wanted
to do it some more, so I let her.

She decided she was good enough
to fly to Lakeland, Florida for the 2005
National Specialty and pull there.
So, I let her.  She did us proud and
made her first National pull for her other
mother, Ruth.  Funny placed fourth in
her class in two pulls National Weekend.

Funny mostly made 10 point pulls.
Because of her age, I did not
want her to pull too much
weight.

Funny really started to enjoy pulling and I
even let
her make a 15 point pull at
the Cascade APBT Club show
in December of 2005.
Her personal best was 2150# on rails.

Funny, had she started her career as
a youngster, would have gone on
to be one of the greatest pullers.  At 11
years and 11 months old, Funny had
more heart than most. Thanks
Alicia Ivie for these great pics of
McBunniess on the rails.  Thanks Kim Allison
for your endless support.

In December 2005 Funny became:
UWPCH 'PR' Arkay's Vintage Dream On
She earned her Championship in four
months, just barely one month shy
of her 12th birthday.

Funny is the oldest to earn her UKC
United Weight Puller Championship.  She
was 5 points shy of making the 2005
All Stars.

Funny certainly is my ALL STAR!
