Klicker began his show career at 4 months of age. Here he is shown with honorable Walt Pasko as he wins yet another Best of Show Novice Puppy. Isn't he cute? (Klicker - not Walt. No, wait. Walt is cute too!) |
Photo by Kim Allison Klicker started showing in the big dog classes at 7 months old. Here he wins his first 10 points under judge Ron Gaither. Mr. Gaither becomes a very influencial judge in Klicker's life as far as firsts go. |

After several Reserves, Klicker takes

The day before the 2000 National in Texas, equally as funny, Janie Collins gave Klicker his final major and with 105 points, he moved on to the Champions class. The next day during National, Klicker was the only male to make the top five cut in the Champions class under honorable, Sandy Comer. Klicker was nine months old! |

Klicker's first Champion win was not until May 2001 under the wonderful Jim Jones in Salt Lake City, UT. Klicker only went to this show to make sure there were enough Champions for my friend to finish her dog. It turned out there were over 10! |
Just after winning his first Champions class, Klicker came in and did it again under the great Judy Jones. Klicker has a couple of Best of Breeds under Judy Jones as well as a couple of BIMBS! |

Photo by Big Bully Designs Klicker then started pounding the pavement in the HUGE Champion classes in the Pacific Northwest. We rarely had less than 25 entries in the Champions class alone. Here he is being handled and shown by junior, Heather Becklund. |
Photo by Big Bully Designs Despite all the big entries, we continued to make the cut in almost every class. Notice the awesome convergence! (On the dog silly!) |

Photo by Big Bully Designs Another cut, another day. It felt like it was taking forever for us to earn another leg. We had plenty of Reserve's. |
Photo by: Elvie Arnobit Finally! Over 26 other Champions, Klicker claimed his third leg under honorable Pat O'Donnel. This was truly an exciting and unexpected win. Boy did I scream! |

Klicker's fourth Champion win and Best of Breed under honorable John Tompkins was probably one of my most exciting wins to date. Klicker had also received a qualifying score in Novice A obedience for his second leg toward his UCD. This made Klicker a TOTAL DOG QUALIFYER! I couldn't have been more proud. |
Despite all my screaming and running and jumping around after Klick became a Total Dog, Sandy Drake "hated to do it" but she had the guts to put Klicker up for his final Champion win making him a UKC Grand Champion that same afternoon. At least she didn't put me at the end of the line again! It was a great day and one I will always cherish for Klicker and I. |

In the summer of 2000, Klicker won the Best Washington State Bred Puppy in Show award from honorable judges Joe and Dianna Allen. |
In 2001, Klicker came back and under Pat O'Donnel, was awarded the Best Washington State Bred Adult award over 16 other dogs. In 2002 under Judy Jones and again in 2003 under Walt Pasko and finally in 2004 under Fred Lanting, Klicker won the Best Washington State Bred Total Dog Award.

Klicker finished his UKC conformation show career in style with a Best In Multi-Breed Show under Judy Jones. Although the ribbon color is for Best In Show and the sign says best in show, this was an official Multi-Breed Show of more than ten breeds. Thanks so much to honorable Judy Jones for recognizing the quality of my LITTLE GUY!
