Klicker is an AGILITY DOG!!

AS A TEAM WE HAVE EARNED

2003 NATIONAL AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER Handler of the year!

2004 NATIONAL AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER Handler of the year!

Klicker earned his UACH with 9 perfect 200's!

It took us a while but Klicker finally earned his United Agility Champion Excellence title in May of 2006.  Klicker and I would like to congradulate Mike Snyder and Penina for becoming the 2005 APBT agility handler of the year and for earning it again in 2006 and once again in 2007!

Klicker earned his first leg toward his Grand Agility title at Premier.

Despite the low number of trials on the West Coast, Bicker Boy qualified for the  2006 Agility One All Stars placing #42.  In the All Star run-off, he came in 5th in his division and 9th overall! WAY TO GO BICKER BOY!!

Klicker flies over the A frame!

Notice how his back legs aren't
touching the frame!

Klicker began training with NADAC competitor/judge Susan Perry of Port Orchard, WA in 2001.  Susan is a GREAT and wonderful teacher and trainer.  Klicker and I have been lucky that we have encountered absolutely NONE of the prejudice so commonly surrounding our breed.  Thanks Susan for your wonderful acceptance of both Klicker and I, we may be a bit slow, but boy are we accurate!

In 2006, Klicker and I began training under another great competitor/judge Sandra Katzen in Renton, Washington.  Can you believe the first thing Sandra ever told me was to SHUT UP!

I LOVE this shot!

OK, so Dad was practicing with the new digital camera.  This shows how FAST Klicker does the weaves!  (Ya, that's it, he is FAST!)

I would also like to extend a great big THANK YOU to two VERY talented photographers: Charley McGee of XDog Photography located in Port Orchard, WA and Daniel Rodgriguez of Rabmag Kennels located in the SF Bay Area.  Thanks guys!!!  You guys are incredible!  Also a HUGE thanks goes to my great friend and confidant, Julia Jones, for her wonderful shots of her God Son.  Julia, you are what a true friend should be!  Finally, thanks too to my friend and competitor Leslie for her first time photos and for all her help and support!

It was close to 100 degrees out this day and Klicker was still flying over the jumps like a true champ!

Who SAID Pit Bulls can't fly?

Training the teeter is a blast!  Klicker took this obstacle with little difficulty.

This is one obstacle the dogs must learn to control.  Crashing to teeter isn't allowed as they must learn to control the desent at the pivot point.

The first time Klicker ever went through a tunnel, it was a little kids toy at the Pierce County fair. He got turned around in the thing and got stuck. Next thing you know, he was fighting and flinging the tunnel around looking like a giant PNW slug on steroids.  Suddenly he came flying out of the tunnel through the side in a volitile explosion, ripping the fabric as he went.  He turned right around and went right back in!  What a guy!

This picture is a constant reminder to NEVER encourage Klicker to run on the dog walk.  Moments after this photo was taken, I yelled "Ya! Bic!  Come On!" and excited by my chearing, he LEAPED off the TOP of the dog walk.  All of my great California conformation friends were chearing and whooping thinking how cool it was and how much air he got - not realizing that part of the obstacle is hitting the contact.  Besides the fact I got lost on that same run, it was the worst run of my life.  The conformation people on the other hand were quite thrilled with Klicker's perfromance.  Thanks for the support guys!

Well, OK - sometimes jumping isn't all that it is cracked up to be!

As a matter of fact, sometimes it is pure agony.

Yet again, sometimes it is a true thrill!

Really, he does run with his eyes open sometimes!

Those evil weaves!

ALMOST DONE!

How he manages to clear jumps is beyond me!

Clear for take off - runway #1

GREAT SHOT!!  What's next!  Klicker looks ahead.  Probably to let me know where the next obstacle is!

CLEAN RUN!!!

In October of 2006, a Junior Handler showed up to a show with a dog that was not able to run. So, I went ahead and entered Bicker Boy in agility One and without EVER meeting this young gal, I told her his commands, we did a walk - through and they managed  to earn TWO qualifying scores and came home with the Junior Handler High In Trial Awards.

At the 2007 National American Pit Bull Terrier Association show, Bicker Boy earned the final leg needed to earn his Agility Grand Championship.  Not only did he earn his grand, but earned a High In Trial from agility 2 National day, as well as the High APBT in trial

During his agility career, BickerBoy has earned five agility High In Trial awards with 3 of them from Agility 2.  He also has earned 6 High APBT in Trial awards. (No, he wasn't the only APBT entered!) Bick became the third APBT to earn the agility Grand.  The first was Melissa and her gal Missy and the second was Mike Snyder and his girl Penina.
