Koda travelled to Lakeland Florida for the 2005 National APBT Show weekend with me. Thank you honorable Barbara Marin for recognizing Koda out of a very nice class of Male Puppies. Koda finished his championship in June of 2006 with major wins under Judy Jones , Virginia Pearson, and June Pasko. |
Julia, her daughter Heather, and I took Koda to an International show in October 2005. Koda not only won Breed Novice Puppy three times he went on to secure two group firsts and a group third with ample competition.

Here Koda once again finds himself stacked on a table he doesn't fit on. Poor Meister Man. He is always having to stand his body on tables that aren't so comfortalbe. Non-the-less, Julia and I were very proud of Koda's first Champion win in North Texas under honorable Tina Reed. Even if I did manage to jump on Meister and scare the crap out of him, he still performed like a champ!
Now, this has got to be the very best win photo ever taken in the history of UKC! Here we have SIX people and one un-photogenic dog, who all look absolutely fantastic. Here Koda becomes one of three to be the first to win a TOTAL DOG AWARD at a UNWPA sanctioned pull. This is an honor he shared with his Daddy Bicker Boy and the dog who won Best Male. Shown with Koda are his real owners Julia McCollam and Doug Broussard and his paper and show "mommy" ME! Julia placed 3rd inthe 80# weight class with Meister while I handled him to his Champion win. Also pictured are the can-can girls judges Tina Reed, Lori "spit wad" Bowling, and Karyn Dawes who took some time off from their Vegas side job as dancers to judge Koda to his first TOTAL DOG AWARD!
