Power comes to Vintage Kennel from  Ed Thomason and Karen Hirschkorn of Alpine Falls American Staffordshire Terriers.  Power rocks!  This guy has additude plus.  We call him PowerBall or Power Chord or Power Pack or Power Surge or Power Tool or Power Less or Power Full.  Power has natural ability and is completely tireless.  He has two speeds, fast and really super fast.  Power does nothing in moderation.  Everything is exagerated to it's fullest extent.  Power is a great canidate for Prozac.  Power loves to act big and tough when the girls are around.  He has a flair for the dramatic and has a musical rhythm to his insistant whines.  His scream equals that of the local school girls when they see Brad Pitt.    Power loves to eat his blankets and do other disasterous things to his mother Karen.

At the time of this writing, Power has  completed his AKC Championship and UKC Grand Championship with 2 Best of Breeds, a Terrier Group One, and a Best In Multi-Breed Show.  He also managed to secure his first leg toward his UCD with a minimum of 12 weeks training.  Power's brillance and desire to please has also caused him to earn his second qualifying obedience score despite his lack of practice.  Power proudly finished his UCD at the 2007 Washington Classic.

PowerBall's skill on the track has earned him both his UWPCHX  and his UWPS in very few pulls.  He is currently competing for a spot in the 2007 Weight Pull All Stars with the hopes that his daddy Ed will take him to Premier in 2008 to win it all.  PowerBall dreams big for such a little guy.

In June of 2007, PowerBall earned his Therapy Dog International title and in the coming months, he hopes to figure out just were his nitch is.  I keep telling him that being a therapy dog is NOT the same as forced community service but I don't think he believes me.  I think he will get the idea soon enough.

PB hit the American Temperament Test Society Temperament Test in September 2007.  Passing with flying colors, PB's big booty was the hit of the show.

PowerBall gave it up and became my second Superdog and UKC's 39th at the 2008 Premier by earning his first two agility titles.  PowerBall ran 8 runs, had 7 Q's with a couple of 200's, a 198, 3 firsts, high scoring A dog, and a 3rd.  He did this while earning his Family Obedience title, AND competing in weight pull all on the same day!

Thanks Karen and Ed for trusting me with your first home bred male.  We will do you proud!
