POWERBALL LOVES BEING A WORKING DOG

Power has earned his UKC United Weight Puller Championship Excellence and his surface title is that of the UWP Supreme.  It took PB about a year to earn all of his Weight Pull titles.

Power began his Weight Pull career by training in the barn of Ebrahim Aljarmouzi and has secured his UWP with two pulls on wheels and one on rails.

Power became one of UKC's youngest single-registered Total Dog's and the youngest APBT at 15 months old.  He could have done it at 13 months old but I was nice enough to leave him home so my friend could bring two dogs to the Montana pull.

Shortly after his first snow pull, Power secured all the points he needed to not only finish his Championship but nailed his Versatile title as well.  In just six pulls our PB had his second 100 points needed on wheels for his Outstanding tile. Way to go PowerBall!

WOOORRRRK POWERBALL!

*PowerBall finished the 2007 Weight Pull All Stars in the #5 spot!

Powerball pulls in his new harness made by CD pits and his collar by Tablerock - It's grapes NOT FLOWERS!!!  Crazy Grapes for a crazy guy!

Here PowerBall makes that final pull toward his UWPCHX.  Thanks Vicki for this hot picture of my mighty man!

Here James gets ready to stop the load that mighty PowerBall struggles to pull!

PowerBall GETS DOWN and looks like a big man! He wants the world to know he is working his hams!

This is my all-time favorite PB Pulling picture.   It doesn't get much better than this.  Go AMSTAFF GOOOO!

PowerBall is a very photogenic puller. He LOVES to stretch out and really lengthen that butt!  Thanks for these great shots of PowerBall pulling in Reno Jason!

PowerBall pulled and pulled and pulled and pulled and pulled and pulled until we ran out of weight.  Somewhere around 4500 pounds.

Here is another one of my favorite PowerBall pulling shots taken by Jason in November of 2007!

PowerBall pulled at the first UNWPA Snow Pull in Washington State in February 2008. He managed to place 3rd in the 80# Weight Class against some of the top snow pulling dogs in the US.  Congratulations to John Victorino for his winning of the 80# Weight Class and to Mike Snyder for winning the Pound Per Pound award with his girl Spice.

PowerBall competed in the UNWPA's second sanctioned pull and the first Wheel Pull, this time in the 60# weight class.  However, PowerBall was not pulling up to par that weekend and we did not compete for a placement.  Congratulations to the winner of the 60# weight class and to Mike Snyder and Spice who also pulled their second P4P in a National Pull!

Despite the fact that we did not place, I am proud of PowerBall's successes on the track.  Although we had also planned on competing for Total Dog this weekend, I decided to save my dog and withdraw him from conformation competition due to his lack of energy and less than optimum working performances.  I only asked PB to pull 25 times his body weight.

PowerBall told me he WAS DONE!!!

As of November 2007, PowerBall has earned TWO total dog awards in weight pull.
